HoneyFil leans on stress and cortisol, and ashwagandha is the ingredient behind that wording.
Several small randomized trials of ashwagandha extracts have measured stress scores and, in some, cortisol, with generally modest improvements. The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, which our page cites, describes the research as limited and calls for more studies. Many of those trials use extract doses in the hundreds of milligrams a day.
That is a reasonable basis for taking the ingredient seriously.
It cannot tell us what a HoneyFil gummy does, because the per-gummy amount of KSM-66 is not published and the formula contains seven other ingredients. A cortisol lab result in a trial of one extract is not a result for this product. If stress is persistent or affecting your health, a doctor can look at causes a supplement cannot. Our main post on ashwagandha and cortisol has more on the studies.
